Oxalis is a neighborhood bistro just steps from the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park. The restaurant offers two dining options: a seasonal carte blanche menu for indoor dining and an a la carte menu for outdoor dining in the alley behind the restaurant.
Walk-ins are always welcome.

Compost Drop-off
With the closure of indoor dining, we will be temporarily discontinuing compost and food drop-off on Sundays. While we would love to continue providing this service, unfortunately we unable to keep up with the cost of the program or the volume of the compost.

garden room
Our airy garden room is available for cocktail receptions and more casual gatherings. The bar has standing capacity for 40, and as weather permits, our garden adds space for an additional 15 people. It’s the perfect space to bring together colleagues, friends and family and share our crafted beverages and passed canapés.

Oxalis is a unique venue for private events, with our airy bar and garden for a cocktail reception and passed canapés and a dining room that allows for a seated dinner of up to 40 guests.
For dinner, Executive chef Nico Russell highlights seasonal produce and thoughtfully curated products through a five course set carte blanche menu, with beverage pairings to perfectly paired for each course.
